My Top 5 Makeup Brushes

These are the 5 makeup brushes I use pretty much on a daily basis. Sometimes I will use my fingers to apply my foundation or cream eyeshadow, but pretty much I swear by these 5 brushes to get the job done and as you can see, I highly rely on Real Techniques brushes. They're crazy affordable and amazing. I wrote a whole post on the Limited Edition Real Techniques Duo Fiber brushes here.

1. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

This is my favorite brush for foundation. It really gets the foundation buffed into your skin to look smooth and flawless. I use circular motions to blend in the product and then I use my hands after just to smooth everything over.

2. Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Face Brush
I love that this brushes doesn't not pack on product therefore giving you a light hand when applying makeup. It's lovely for applying powder over foundation and I know some people like using it for blush. I love using either my Rimmel Stay Matte powder or the Chanel Les Bieges with this brush.

3. Real Techniques Blush Brush
This is a great fluffy brush that I use for blush or sometimes even contouring. You don't want any harsh lines on your face so this is great for getting that natural finish. 

4. Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Eye Brush
This is amazing for blending out eyeshadow at the crease and edges of your eyeshadow. Like the Face Brush, it doesn't pick up too much product to its great if you tend to have a heavy hand at applying eyeshadow. I just like using it to blend blend blend!

5. MAC 217 Blending Brush

Finally, a brush from a different brand! This is my go to brush to either sweep eyeshadow all over the lid or to blend in the creases of the eye lid. It's all around fantastic and makes eye makeup easy. I highly recommend getting this brush especially if you're new to makeup.
