REN ClearCalm 3 Replenishing Night Serum

I purchased the REN ClearCalm 3 Replenishing Night Serum last Fall when I first started using the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (that I'm obsessed with). Because of the cold weather and the acne treatment, my skin was really suffering of dry patches around my nose and cheeks and so I was looking for something to give me that extra moisture. Recently with the cooler weather coming in I've been adding this step into my night time routine again.

The serum feels soothing and replenishing and comes in a gel-cream like formula that you gently massive into your skin after you cleanse and tone and before you moisturize. It definitely feels very calming and relaxing to apply. Overnight it helps problematic and blemish prone skin to become clear, calm and comfortable while reducing the appearance of scars and redness. It is called ClearCalm 3 because it fights the 3 causes of breakouts:

1. excess sebum buildup
2. buildup of deerskin cells
3. blemish-causing bacteria

I really like this added step to go with my acne treatments when I feel my skin is looking like it's going to break out. I also hear the REN ClearCalm 3 Claryifying Clay Cleanser is really good for oily acne prone skin.
