I recently got a new computer on Black Friday. Since then I have set up an actual computer area where I have been writing my blog! And like any blogger there are a few essentials I need on my desk to feel complete.
First I have my Diptyque candle which is a winter must have. They smell nice, look nice and can be decanned and used for many different purposes after. Currently I'm burning the Gardenia one and it just fills up the living room and you puts you in a good mood.
Second I never go too far without having some sort of chapstick nearby. With me now, I have the Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Blam for Lips which I have mentioned before many times and a new desk and pocket favorite has been the Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Lip Balms. I love the original formula but I like this one even better for the winter months. It's moisturizing and minty giving your lips that fresh feeling. There really isn't any color payoff so its one I just use all the time without a mirror.
Next, I also never go too far without any hand cream. I hate having dry hands in the winter so every time after I wash my hands I need to apply hand cream. In my bag I always carry the Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream, but currently at my desk I'm using the Tocca Crema da Mano in Cleopatra which is Grapefruit and Cucumber and that sounds really strange but it's actually quite nice and they come in a few other scents as well.
Other things I keep at my desk are little sticky notes because I prefer to actually write down little notes. I also like to have a drink (usually either soda or tea) while I'm on the computer and finally my phone because that thing never leaves my side.
One other announcement!
We are leaving for Barcelona tomorrow! We will be there until the 29th so until then I will not be updating the blog! Hope everyone has a wonderful and magical Christmas this year and I'll see you guys when I get back!
