Hello! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I had an amazing time this holiday season in Barcelona and I'm excited to be back and begin the new year! I've gathered my all time favorite products i have been using and discovered in 2013 to share with you.
First, I think the product that I will be repurchasing again and again will be the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. I have mentioned this acne treatment many times but this discovery for me this year really changed my skin. Another item that has already been repurchased is the Bioderma Crealine H2O makeup remover. I have giant bottles, travel size bottles, the version for oily skin - basically this is my fail safe makeup remover and every makeup lover needs an excellent makeup remover.
For my face, the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint was a great discovery this summer since I have combination (oily tzone) skin. A matte tinted moisturizer? YES PLEASE. Also, along the same lines, eye primer is now a must for me if I'm leaving the house. I love MAC paint pot in Groundwork because it's darker than my skin tone so it leaves a nice natural looking wash over the lids giving them some depth. This year I also found my all time favorite eyebrow pencil: Anastasia Brow Wiz. Thank you brow pencil you complete my face!
I have never been loyal to any mascara really but I really did enjoy using the Loreal Telescopic Mascaras. I always use the regular one for my top lashes because I hate taking off Waterproof mascara and if I want to wear mascara on my bottom lashes then I pair it with the waterproof mascara (bottom lashes only).
Lips. Lips. Lips. Lips became a huge obsession of mine after I started this blog. Looking back the two products that have really made an impact on my makeup this year have been the Revlon Lip Butters (I couldn't stop buying all the shades) and MAC lipsticks. MAC lipstick in Rebel especially has set up my love for dark lips now. These two are still staples and I will continue to reach for them even in 2014. Another lip favorite has been the Revlon Lip butters. I own about 10 of them (crazy I know). They are so good! and so easy! So many different shades to choose from and super moisturizing. They definitely stood out to me this past year.
Finally, a new addition, The Body Shop Vintage Peach Body Butter had to mentioned. I don't really enjoy applying body lotion but this body butter has completed changed the way I feel. I am addicted to the peach scent and how incredible it smells. I also picked up the Vitamin E Body Butter but nothing tops the smell of the Peach one... I think I need to have some backups now...
Thanks to everyone reading the blog this past year! I think I will try to do posts when I can but I'm not sure I will keep the Monday-Friday posts coming in as regular as before for a little while. Thanks again for reading!
