post travel skin recovery

After a long 5-day weekend trip, my skin was feeling and looking tired... and super tan (notice my extremely dark hand). over the past few days since i was using mostly sample size products i think my skin became a little sensitive and upset. the skin around my eyes were getting irritated. i had a quiet night to myself and these two masks were just what i needed.

Step 1: Borghese Fango Delicato Active Mud for Delicate Skin

I am a big fan of mud masks for unclogging pores, eliminating dead skin cells, and detoxifying impurities. I have been using the Origins clay mask weekly for the past year as well. The Borghese Fango Delicato mask dries a lot faster so you only need to leave it on for 5 minutes before you wash it off. It's a gentle mud mask targeting more sensitive and dehydrated skin. I do feel tingling the first few minutes I apply it, but it's not too bad and goes away. I have heard great results of pores shrinking with this product so I will report back in a few months.

Step 2:

Boots Botanics Intensive Moisture Mask

I received this mask as a gift with purchase and I like to apply a thin layer of this all over the face before I go to sleep at night. In the morning I just rinse it off the next morning. It contains Vitamins A, C and E and apple extract to brighten skin tone. My skin definitely feels plumper and refresehd in the morning after I have used this and I hate having dry skin so a moisture mask is a must for me.
