stila countless color pigments in lyric

I first saw the Stila Countless Color Pigments in Sephora awhile back and I was always drawn to the packaging because they're super bright and fun. I would always walk past them but I just didn't know how to wear them because they're crazy colors! While I was on holiday this past weekend I saw they were on sale at Nordstrom Rack so I picked up the shade lyric. it's in this beautiful neon coral/orange packaging and it's bright pink! it's a pink I wouldn't normally pick up so I thought it would be fun to give it a go. Regularly priced at $22, these pigments were only $8.97 at the Rack.

How cool and pretty! I smile every time I look at it because it's so bright and happy. I've swatched it on my ring finger in the picture. It was very pigmented when I applied it to my checked and a bit frosty. Lyric is described as a light pink/lavender/peach shade.

These pigments come in ten crazy bright shades and you can use them on your cheeks or your eyes. I think it would be hard to use the individual colors so i just dip my blush brush and swirl it all around. Some of the other shades have a more dramatic color difference. And the packaging reminds me of a moon (i love moons!).

I'm not sure you're able to see the subtle flush of pink on my cheeks but I don't really like noticeable blush. I blended out the pink quite a lot but its still a lot more girly than I normally go for. And excuse the glasses today. I just got my second pair of Warby Parker glasses and I was just really excited to wear them today!
